Hi Team Kenya!

I hope you all are getting as excited as I am!!!  In less than 2 weeks we will be together!! And since we have less than 2 weeks, I have a couple reminders :)

First- If you plan on taking your bank card to use at an ATM or anything like that, make sure you call your bank and let them know where you are going and for how long!  Also, I would recommend taking some emergency cash (that you don't plan on spending) with you just in case something happens.

Second- Taxes!  We will be gone when taxes are due, so if you need to do any of that, there is actually a form that you can sign that will allow someone else to sign for you.  I am not quite sure the name of the form, but if you go to a tax person they will know.  I will try and find out and let you all know!

Third- We have been in contact with our first contact :)  He and his church are really excited for us to be coming and are already praying for us.  He stressed about bringing plenty of sunscreen since it is summer there and malaria medication.  Also please make sure you bring a mosquito net of some sort as well!  I emailed him about dress code stuff and more of specific ministry that we might be doing so when he responds I will let you all know!
