(This would be me and one of the fifth graders I taught at my first mission trip in Orlando, FL)

Hey everyone!!

                My name is Kolby Hogan I am nineteen years old and graduated from a little school out in the middle of nowhere in East Texas. I was born in Austin, Texas and have lived in the Lone Star state my entire life. Ever since I accepted Christ and grew in a personal relationship with Him I have always for the most part known that God had called me to do great things for Him. This past summer as I was about to enter into the next phase of my life and head off to college to play football I felt in my heart God call me out. I didn’t know what it was He was trying to tell me so I began to seriously ask Him what was going on. Long story short two weeks before I was to report for fall training camp for football I went up to my recruiting coach and told Him that God was calling me to go overseas and help other people and love on them the way God loves them. Of course this was difficult for my coach but he understood my desire and need to follow after God. Guys, (and girls) I know that no matter what God has for us (in Kenya and in our individual lives) as long as we give strive to follow after His heart and His will everything will turn out for the better!! I CANNOT WAIT to get to know each of you as we continue on to prepare for this amazing opportunity we are going to have!
